Adding more services to Google Business has never been easier and only takes minutes. We now see options in the Google Business dashboard for specific business types. All you need to do is log in to your Google Business account and click ‘services’ on the left side of your dashboard.

LOOK FOR THE KEYWORD TABS
You are in luck if you see the keyword [+ tabs]! Google suggests more services for you to add based on your website content and actual Google searches for your business type. (See some examples below)
If you agree with the Google suggestions, click each one that applies to your services and click the publish button.
HOW TO ADD A CUSTOM SERVICE TYPE
If you want to add custom services, click the +Add Custom Service button.
Enter the service name and click confirm.
GETTING YOUR EDITS APPROVED
Google My Business might take a few days to approve your edit. Enter as many custom services as they apply to your business. Don’t go overboard with this feature or risk having your listing suspended or disabled.
WHAT IF I CAN’T SAVE MY EDITS?
Do not worry if you are unable to save your edits. This new feature has not been rolled out for your business type. On the other hand, webmasters have reported seeing the keyword suggestions for many of their listings. Eventually, this new feature will be available to everyone.
Some of these include Pharmacies, Gas Stations, Restaurants, Deli, Security System Suppliers, Moving and Storage, Contactor and Insulation Contractors, Plumbers, Preschool, Daycare, DJ, Photographer, Remodeler, Attorney, Propane/Oil Company, Wedding Venue, Corporate Retreat Venue, Home Cinema, Home Automation, Audio Visual, Swimming Pool Contractor.
This means the ability to add a custom service to your Google My Business listing is coming online for more business types every day.
