Google’s crawlers try not to crawl a website too fast to avoid overloading it. However, Googlebot doesn’t crawl all the pages it discovered. Similarly, the Google bot will be less inclined to crawl a website if pages have errors or usability problems.
How Long Does It Take For Google To Crawl A Website Page?
Crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It is a good idea to be patient and monitor progress using either the Google Index Status report or the Google Search Console URL Inspection tool. NOTE: Requesting a crawl does not guarantee that inclusion in search results will happen instantly.
Discovered, But Not Currently Indexed- What the Heck Does That Mean?
In 2021 webmaster began seeing a new notification in the Google Search Console; ‘Discovered- Not Currently Indexed.’ The Discovered – currently not indexed status means that Google knows about these URLs, but they haven’t crawled them yet.
