more important every day as more people use the World Wide
Web to find goods, services and information. This also includes
the search for other digital assets such as; Video, Audio,
Power Point, PDF files, Word documents, Text files and other
digital data.
Here are some ways to help your online videos achieve a good
ranking is implement 5 fundamental video optimization techniques:
• Add a keyword-rich video title tag and description
• Capitalize on link-text methods (hyperlinking key
text phrases to and from your video)
• RSS feeds and Social Networking feeds
• Include transcripts and you will capture more search
engine attention.
• Create
a video site map
If your video is posted and optimized
on You Tube then in some cases Google will return your videos
in it's search query results under the web tab. See: Google
